Stitch Fix Review #1

Well, we’ve made it through the weekend. It was quite the traumatic one for Juno and me but we are doing a lot better. Rest was definitely needed.

Happy Stitch Fix day everyone! I’ve been using this amazing service for eighteen months now and LOVE it.

In case you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it is a program where you get an online stylist who sends you 5 items whenever you prefer (I get items every six weeks). The items your stylist sends are based off of your style profile, which includes everything from fit to style to budget. You’ve got three days to try everything on in the comfort of your home, with your current wardrobe all around you. Then, you choose what to keep and send back what you don’t like (totally free – shipping is included).

This time, my stylist, Laura sent me:

Dewitt Lace Sleeve Henley Knit Top & Lillie Distressed Cuffed Denim Short

I really liked the shirt but the fabric was a little bit see through. It’s too bad! the shorts were cute too-I would have kept them but they look almost exactly like the pair I already have.

Tessa Button Down Top

This was my favorite item! The fabric is super soft and I love the length. It looks great with the jeans they sent last time but could also be dressed up with a nicer pair of trousers.

Alessandro Silk V-Neck Blouse

I asked for tops that could double for work days and date nights, and this top was exactly that. I did notice some pulling on the thread around the sleeves, so if they can send me another, I will definitely keep.

McGraw Two-Tone Stripe Knit Top

SO soft and comfy! The detailing/opening in the back are so sweet too. I’m just not sure if it’s worth keeping, especially because I have so many striped shirts. What are your thoughts?
