Things I’m Loving Friday #9

TGIF! Sharing my faves from the week on the blog, join in!

Happy Friday, friends! We’ve made it through another week 🙂 I hope this one was a good one for you. It’s been a tough week with Juno home from playcare & adjusting my schedule but we’ve made it through!

On to a few of the things I’m loving this week!

Juno on the Nest Cam

Since Juno’s had to stay home, I’ve been getting more use out of my nest cam. Just had to share. I think she’s the absolute cutest.

Meal inspiration from Carrots-N-Cake

Trying to eat healthy often leaves us eating the same meals over and over. That’s why I was so excited to come across some awesome meal plans. The visual shopping lists were what drew me in. Can’t wait to try some new recipes next week.

Trader Joe’s Sesame Soy Ginger Vinaigrette

This stuff is SOOOOO good. It reminds me of the dressing I used to put on every salad in college but without the freshman weight gain. I’ve been using it for salads but also stir fries and veggie dipping.

Programming!

I finally bit the bullet and took my midterm, such a relief for it to be over! But now I’m on to learning the exciting stuff, learning how to create programs based off of a client’s goals. I am so pumped to use this skill to help others out on their fitness journeys.

Kick Ass Conditioning

My trainer posted a super tough conditioning workout that I can’t wait to try! You should too 🙂

All of you!

As of yesterday, the blog has already surpassed February view numbers. That means more of you lovely people are reading and that brings me so much joy. Thank you 🙂

What are you up to this weekend?

  1. I love that TJ’s dressing! I used to get it all the time last year when I lived in Dallas. A TJ’s just opened an hour away from me in Tulsa, so I’m hoping to get there this weekend. Also, that new conditioning workout is killer! I did three rounds on Tuesday and then the Sunday sprints option. I was super-sweaty! Have an awesome weekend!
P.S. What are the pros/cons of Nest? My husband and I are thinking of getting it since our two dogs are home by themselves a lot during the day.

  2. Right??? It’s so good! So worth the drive–I go every weekend but my drive isn’t so far! Recently I’ve been doing OTF on conditioning days, I miss Paige’s conditioning workouts though….
Re: Nest cam. I really like it. The notifications are helpful to see when she’s moving around and love love love being able to check in on her. I also think Nest is super secure, which makes me feel secure with the camera in my bedroom!! There’s also the two way microphone so you can talk to your pups. I tried that with Juno and that FREAKED her out. There are a couple out there that dispense treats and other things, but I chose the Nest one mostly because of the security.
